Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions supplied with your hardware for details on how to connect your ADSL device to the phone line, power source and the computer.
1) The D-Link router is configured using a Web Interface. To access the interface open a web browser and type 'http://192.168.1.1' into the address bar.
2) When the login window appears, enter the username and password of the router. If you have not modified the admin username and password the default login details should be as follows:
Default Username : admin
Default Password : admin
Please note the router's admin login details are supplied by the
manufacturer, not by Claranet

3) Once you have logged in sucessfully, the router's "Web Configuration Interface" will appear. To configure the router, you may now select either "Run Wizard" or WAN (manual configuration). If you selected "Run Wizard", follow the onscreen instructions. The router configuration settings you will need are available below.

4) If you selected the WAN button, ensure the settings are set as stated below.
PVC Number :- PVC-0
WAN Type :- PPP
Connection Type :- PPPoA
VPI/VCI :- 0/38

1) To configure your D-Link router using a NON-NAT solution, follow the instructions as detailed in the previous section above until you reach step 2, then please continue with the instructions detailed below.

3) From the main menu on the router's web configuration page, select LAN.

Please note: The image displayed has the router’s Default IP address.
4) From the IP range supplied to you, insert the first available IP as the LAN IP Address. Please note that since the first and last IP addresses in your range (known as the Network Address and the Broadcast Address) are reserved, which makes them unavailable. In this case the first available IP will in fact be the second IP in your range.
Enter the correct LAN Subnet Mask. If you have requested a NON-NAT solution, Claranet will have supplied these details to you.
5) To save your settings, click Apply.
NB: In order to be able to communicate with the router correctly, please ensure that you have assigned an IP address from the range to your computer, this is usually done through the TCP/IP settings on your computer.
