In 2006 the company had revenues of €106m and has been profitable since 1999. Our organic growth has been complemented by expansion of our European footprint via strategic acquisitions. The range and quality of our hosting products has been enhanced and greater emphasis is now placed on managed services which deliver more technology options, flexibility and scalability to our customers.
Over the past decade, Claranet has extended its reach and reputation by expanding its portfolio, investing in its technology and constantly listening to its customers. Today Claranet has operations in the UK, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands and the USA. We operate 24-hour network operating centres covering all countries and manage 12 offices and 16 datacentres.
Our client base of over 36,000 organisations includes European enterprise customers, public sector businesses and wholesale partners, as well as a core group of small and medium-sized businesses.
