IPSec

Claranet's IPSec VPN solution creates a safe link through the generally unsafe public Internet. Using encryption techniques, all traffic shared between offices is secured. IPSec acts as a 'virtual tunnel' for incoming and outgoing traffic over the Internet. This tunnel travels between client sites preventing unauthorised access. In addition to the encrypted tunnel, firewalls at each site may be configured to limit Internet access both to and from the office network.
